Giving Changes Everything
Our giving is one of several expressions of worship, our faithful, practical response to the Lord’s generosity. Nowhere else is his extravagant generosity better displayed than the cross of Christ. We love because he first loved us and we give because he first gave us His Son. Now we give of our time, talent and treasure to make Christ known and obey the Father’s will.
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
